Our Wellrehab sessions can be tailored women who are either pregnant or have given birth. Pregnancy and birth requires the body to undergo many adaptive changes. Fortunately, women's bodies are well designed to cope with the postural changes placed upon them.
However, aches and pains during pregnancy are common. With the further requirements of birth, breastfeeding and caring for a rapidly growing baby, mothers' bodies may require additional strength and flexibility.
Strength training is suitable to assist you get in shape following birth, especially in such situations where a caesarean section is required which further weakens core muscles. Strengthening your core abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles provides mums with the confidence, and flexibility to enjoy caring for themselves and their new baby.
