Nick is the director of Wellwest. He has over 10 years experience as a clinician and utilises osteopathy and acupuncture as well as sports and rehab exercise prescription in his treatment of patients. He is registered as a medical acupuncturist with the New Zealand Blood Register, which ensures safe and professional clinical practices. Nick is passionate about sports training, osteopathy and acupuncture and enjoys treating patients from all walks of life, ranging from sports people to trades people.He has also undertaken training in paediatrics, obstetrics and cranial osteopathic therapy and enjoys treating children and pregnant women.

Originally from England, Nick worked in London before moving to New Zealand to enjoy a healthier lifestyle and a better way of life. Happily married and a caring father he enjoys spending time with his two young daughters and son. In his precious spare time he enjoys kite-surfing, wind-surfing, paddle boarding, surfing and riding bikes.

Bachelor of Health Science BHSc (TCM & ACU)

Roni holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture. She is a member of the New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists and an ACC treatment provider.

Roni provides an intuitive, supportive and unique treatment atmosphere. She is particularly interested in helping with women's health issues and seeing pregnant women or those with fertility issues. She provides tailored treatment and uses gentle acupuncture, cupping therapy and moxa, combined with lifestyle advice to support and inspire wellbeing.

Roni works alongside other health care providers, including osteopaths, midwives and GPs, to enhance the care they provide. This integrated approach allows her to examine all aspects of the person's life and evolve her approach as treatment progresses. Roni has a deep appreciation for the benefits traditional Chinese medicine can offer, having used it herself and for the health of her husband and three children. Houman is an osteopath and medical acupuncturist with a great interest in functional movement and performance. He offers assistance to a wide range of patients, including athletes, office workers and older adults. He provides strategies to reduce the risk of any potential injuries, and offers various techniques to suit each individual for acute and chronic conditions. Houman became an osteopathy enthusiast when he acknowledged the role of the musculoskeletal system in developing and treating health conditions. He uses his holistic osteopathic and acupuncture approach to identify and address the main contributing factor(s) to each patient's presenting complaint including life style, occupation, physiological and psychological elements. He believes improvement in musculoskeletal system can have a large positive impact on other body systems.

Houman moved to New Zealand in 2004 to study health science. He is also a qualified chef/barista and in his spare time, he enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities with friends and exploring beautiful sceneries around Auckland. Houman maintains a healthy lifestyle by a balanced diet and regular exercise. He plays soccer twice a week and is a passionate supporter of the All Blacks.
